A career in banking is one the most sought career options as it provides stability. There are a number of entrance exams for recruitment to banking. The major banking entrance exams in India 2015-16 include exams conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), State Bank of India (SBI), for various Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts series of Common Written Exam (CWE) IBPS conducts series of CWEs in a year – once for each of PO (General Banking Officer – GBO), Clerical, Specialist Officers for recruitment into the Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks so as to cater to the demand of the banking industry.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts RBI assistant exam, clerical recruitment exam. Reserve Bank of India is India’s Central Banking Institution, which controls the Monetary Policy of the Indian Rupee.
State Bank of India (SBI)
State Bank of India (SBI) conducts various entrance exams which include SBI Associate Banks Clerical Exam, SBI Clerical Cadre Recruitment, SBI PO Recruitment.
